Steadfast in Sisterhood.

The Creed of Phi Mu Fraternity

To lend to those less fortunate a helping hand.

To think of God as a protector and guide of us all.

To keep forever sacred the memory of those we have loved and lost.

To be to others what we would they would be to us.

To keep our lives gentle, merciful and just;

Thus being true to the womanhood of love.

To walk in the way of honor, guarding the purity of our thoughts and deeds.

Being steadfast in every duty small or large.

Believing that our given word is binding.

Striving to esteem the inner man above culture, wealth or pedigree.

Being honorable, courteous, tender;

Thus being true to the womanhood of honor.

To serve in the light of truth avoiding egotism, narrowness and scorn.

To give freely of our sympathies.

To reverence God as our Maker, striving to serve Him in all things.

To minister to the needy and unfortunate.

To practice day by day love, honor, truth.

Thus keeping true to the meaning, spirit and reality of Phi Mu.

Recruitment Team

Dear Potential New Members,

Your time in college can be super scary and overwhelming. From your first day of classes to your last, there are so many things that can make furthering your education a huge challenge. Luckily though, there are plenty of things on campus that make that journey a little bit easier, and for me, that thing is Phi Mu!

From the minute I stepped into Caraway, I was immediately showered with outpouring love and support from my new sisters. It was hard to believe that a bunch of girls that I’d just met could care so much for me so quickly, but as time went on, I understood why. By joining a sorority, I not only gained the sisters in my chapter, but also every other sister that has ever come before me, going all the way back to our founders, Mary, Mary, and Martha back in 1852! Not only that though, no matter what organization you are in, you now have a connection with every other person in the Greek community. By going Greek, I am able to network with people in my field that I never would have been able to otherwise. My Phi Mu experience has been incredibly rewarding in so many ways I’d never thought possible!

Love,
